Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing long break and got to spend time with those you love. Let’s kick off the new year talking about a few winter transitional pieces that are closet classics. Fashion this time of year is so odd, while holiday plaid and NYE sparkle and shine have died down, true spring dressing feels so far away. I always use this month to take a long hard look at my closet and do some serious cleaning. In that process I also see what basics might need updating. This holiday, our Instagram feeds were decked with celebrity family portraits and chic seasonal cards. Oh, what joy it was seeing the various coordinated outfits in red, white, shimmery silvers and golds!
